Today we had a great team planning meeting! The Lafayette
School Corporation is in the process of beginning a major WIFI project, but it
will not be ready for the E-Learning Conference. We will be bringing in a
temporary wireless network. This will enable the attendees to bring their own
devices and use them in the sessions. We will have computer labs, mobile labs
and IPAD labs that the presenters can utilize for their sessions. BOYD is
recommended but not “mandatory”. Everyone will have a great hands classroom
changing learning experience.
On March 1, we hope to post a first draft of sessions. Our goal is to provide a robust variety of sessions that will cater to all levels and interests. We will be modifying and adding sessions right up until this national level type conference.
The registration site for the conference will hopefully be live in the middle of March. The fee for Lafayette School Corporation teachers will be free. The registration fee for teachers that are from outside of the district will be in
